Frequently Asked Questions

We're Here to Help

If you can't find the answer you're looking for, please contact us.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. Whether it is a same order of a few plants or a full tractor trailer you can pick up your order. Please always set a pickup time with your account manager before picking up.

Can I use plant images from your website for my business?

No. Some images are protected by copyright. If you need specific images, please contact us as we may be able to supply non-copyright photos for use.

Can you leave us the carts to unload when we have time?

Depending on the season our carts can be in short supply. Carts are often left with the customers to unload at their convenience and picked up at the time of next delivery.  Our carts are an essential part of our shipping process and they are not to be used as long-term store display fixtures. Empty carts are the customers responsibility and should be stored securely. Please request pickup

Do you offer retail pricing for the plants I order?

We print all plant tags for most perennials, trees, flowering shrubs, and evergreens on demand for each and every order. This means that we can print your retail price as part of the tag design, no price stickers, no customers swapping stickers, just clean and professional pricing.  For branded items or smaller 9cm and 11cm perennials a price/UPC sticker is applied to the tag or pot.

Do you offer payment terms?

We do offer terms to approved wholesale accounts. If you are not a current customer, please complete our wholesale application.

Do you ship outside the continental United States?

We ship throughout Canada and the USA; please contact one of our sales representatives for more details. We do not ship outside continental USA or Canada.

How do I become a customer?

Please contact the account manager for your specific area, or fill out our Wholesale Account Application and a account manager will be in contact.

How do I order online?

To order online you must have a current Willowbrook Nurseries account and fill out the Wholesale Account Application to set up your account.

How far do you ship?

We ship full truckloads anywhere in Canada and the continental US. Partial loads are limited to a 300-km radius from our farm.

If it's not on the order form, can I write it in?

Yes, there are often plants in the nursery that are not on the order form or availability for many different reasons. Please email your request or write it on your order and your account manager will let you know if it is available.

Is there an average freight amount?

Freight is calculated based on the amount of space your order takes up and the percentage in reference to the other orders on the truck.  These rates are calculated at the time of shipping, but we can provide estimates prior to that if you need the information.

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa and Mastercard. All credit payments must be made at time of purchase or within 15 days of purchase if you have terms with Willowbrook.

What is the minimum to ship?

The minimum order requirement can change depending on the time of year and where you're located. To get the most accurate info about the minimum shipping requirements in your area, it's best to get in touch with the representative who services your area.

When will I receive my order?

Once an order is received, it will be processed by your account manager. You will be contacted via your preferred contact method to confirm the order, at which time the account manager will let you know when you will receive your order. Shipping times will depend on where you are located, and the time of year/season you place the order.  Shipping time will range between 1-3 days depending on the season and your location.

Why do you have an image and description in the plant library that is not being grown?

We often have plants that are in and out of production from year to year based on availability. We leave these plants visible as a resource so customers can compare and plan out their purchasing.

Will the driver help us unload?

Many of our deliveries are on carts, skids, or wood racks. Our drivers will bring these to the back of the truck, bring them down with a tailgate (if available), or bring loose items to the back of the truck. It is expected that garden centre or store staff will help unload and bring empty carts and skids to the back of the truck.
